It's the drag radials more than anything from what I see. At our local track there's a guy with a 2010 GT500 that ran mid 12's stock. When he put drag radials on it put him in the mid 11's. That's the biggest problem with the mustang is traction.

I gotta agree. I just got some DRs last week for mine. I'm really looking forward to getting it to the track and seeing the difference in 1/4 mile times. Just from driving it, the difference is night and day.
