Captain Obvious speaking here: that's because there is no performance package or gear options on the SS. Bone Stock "plain jane" vs Bone Stock "plain jane" and the GT lost the 1/4 mile.
Still, I LOVE the competition. The new Muscle Car Era is alive and well!!
