Not if nobody buys your cars because you have that "bankrupt" stigma.:(
If they file Chapter 11, MANY jobs will be lost as GM "trims the fat", the company will shrink to be no bigger than Chrysler, and any dreams of being number one or competing against foreign companies will be dead. There will be no recovery.
