Evidence is the G8 GT being sold without the manual option because demand wasn't there. But it is first a family car, and performance car second.
But on built-for-performance cars like the Corvette and Camaro? I don't see the manual going anywhere...this article seems like one of those "I feel like talking about it." jobs.
