We have already seen DOHC Ford 5.0L engines making over 500rwhp. Admittedly not the same as the 5.0 going in the GT and these were racing applications. And I readily admit that the 6.2 will make more power with full bolt-ons than the 5.0L. It should it has 1.2L more to work with.
The weight advantage simply means the camaro will need to make around 30 more rwhp than the 5.0 to keep the power-to-weight ratio roughly the same.

Bottom line, when Whipple and Kenne Bell make their kits for the 2011 Mustang, those cars will be very low 11 second cars with no more than 11-12 psi of boost. Maybe even high 10's with drag radials. That's my prediction.
