The last $25 billion thing was a loan, too. It was already approved earlier in the year, but the actual $$$ was never allocated -- so GM persued the allocation of the money. They weren't given any handouts: It ALL has to be paid back. |
Let's remember that some nations actually give their companies money for projects like the hybrid Prius.
Don't begin to think that GM is getting off easy.
