the first week of college, me & the guys in my dorm were coming up with relevant nicknames for each other (the black guy was Token, the asian guy was Baby Shoes - that kind of mean awful stuff) since my dad's black & mom's white i became zebra. four years later, half the people i know only know me as 'zebra' or 'z' so i figured why not stick with it?
