I would definitely pay $50 a year for PSN even without those features. While it comes down to the game's way of setting up competition the games that I have all have good setups and the PSN is integrated nicely into everything. I just like to pretymuch play anonymously with no headset, It is fun, but not the same as when I played online games on the PC 15 years ago where you could actually meet people who didn't act like children with brain damage.

Yeah, it IS pretty bad sometimes. But thank God for that mute button!!

Without it I'm pretty sure playing online would get old real quick. And yeah, whenever I get around to having kids, if I ever caught them talking like that to anyone they'd be getting their game system confiscated reeeeeaaal quick.
