Stick both cars in a wind tunnel and the Volt will deliver better aerodynamic results. You can't compare a car that's designed and built to deliver maximum range out of its battery pack to a performance coupe.
Form dictates function. The Volt concept had a muscle car look to it and Lutz said they got better results in the tunnel when they stuck the concept in backwards.
