Ok, thanks for the info. So probably replacing the stock block with the LSX454 block would be the easier route and I hear that the 454 block is aluminum? I don't know much about stroked motors but it's sounding like that it would be a waste to buy forged pistons for the LS3 since I would need larger pistons for the bigger cylinders in the 454 block. Is that pretty much the only thing that would be different? Mostly worried about wasting $$ upgrading the LS3 when they won't fit on the 454 block (or bored Ls3 block)
