However, as you can tell, incentives weren't obviously what was on consumer's minds, because if that was the case then the Domestics would have vastly outsold the Japanese automakers.
Did you also notice that GM and Chrysler's incentives have gone down while Toyota's went up? And GM's core brands increased their sales more than Toyota Motor Corp did. Barely, but they still went up.
