Don't they need to push MDS onto auto's because of pleasability; use the converter to soften the activation/deactivation of the MDS? I think as technology improves, we won't see the difference in power levels we do now; assuming it's because the MDS can't handle the cam profiles in the LS3, at least. I don't know what's the deal with the 5.7 HEMIs though.
