It may not be in my lifetime... or ever, but it is a possibility. I'm not looking for politics, I'm just asking to use your imagination and describe what some events might sound like minus the 'auto' sound. Good or Bad... just curious.
Some companies are already investing in "noisemakers" for low-speed commuting down city streets. Those may be beeps at intersections, or an artificial humming at "idle", or maybe even artificial IC sounds.

Personally, I don't see the US fleet EVER going 100% electric.
