It may be a public forum, and because it is, there are rules in place, and it is up to the members to report to the mods when we feel there is someone posting out of line comments, Now you should know Mods can't read every post, and many have gotten away with a lot of cussing and name calling without the mods catching them. Only when they are reported many times can people be notified of their breaking of the rules.. and before anyone gets banned or anything they are usually warned a couple times.. but if they insist on keeping up their posts that do not meet forum rules they will get banned..
Although the mods do a excellent job enforcing the rules, it is up to all members to help the mods with policing the forum..
