In fact, the house my mom lives in right now she got for a really good deal because the family living in it thought the world would end on Y2K. They sold their house and their cars and whatnot, paid off all their debt, and moved into a double wide trailer with their brothers and sisters and their families (seriously, think like four familys of 4-5 in a single trailer, plus mom and pop) to be ready for Jesus to come and take them from this earth.

I hear that now they're living in one of the new housing additions that went up a few years ago.

I think she was just making the point that they SHOULD emphasize the calendar just starts over... I think you miss interpreted what she said
