Yes. I have seen it said here before. But not nearly as many times as ive seen it on pro-mustang boards obviously. The consensus for some is pretty much that the 5.0 has nothing to worry about N/A to N/A vs the LS3.
It is usually to the effect of the 5.0 design being so amazing that it can overcome all the displacement advantage the LS3 has...seen it posted hundreds of times all over the net.
One memorable post on here I recall from one of our very beloved and daily breed of trolls, was a post featuring the infamous new video of the camaro losing to the mustang (posted for the 100th time....literally) accompanied by a suggestion for us to pull off our stock heads and replace the cam to compete....and thats just the beginning.
