Biggest factor in ET is the launch...BY FAR. No way around that. IF two cars got the same exact 60 ft and the same exact trap speed the ET's can still be different but it will not be by much. (surely not 4 tenths like in the MT test, camaros launch was fudged that day, he is right to be suspicious)

General rule of thumb for drag racing. ET=Launch/traction MPH=Indication of horsepower (if you ran the cars side by side in a roll race on the highway, two cars with equal traps would make a great race....traction is out of the equation)

You can calculate a cars fastest possible ET (or damn near from plugging in some numbers, it seems to be very accurate) by plugging in a trap speed.
