No, it is not. As others have noted, GM, at one time, farmed out specific work to them to transform 4th Gen Camaros into an SS. Gen4 SS's were never considered "SLP" Camaros even though that's who did the conversion work behind the scenes for GM.

SVT, like SRT over in Mopar(Fiat?)land are the in-house teams that design and engineer the performance versions of Ford/Mopar vehicles. GM had such a group in the recent past, too, HPVO (High Performance Vehicle Operations) but that group got wacked early in 2009.

SLP today is a tuner/part company that offers not only SLP editions of Camaros, but also manufactures and sells parts for Mustangs and other modern muscle/ponycars, too.

So what are you trying to say?
I think he's trying to say that if Ford is aware that a 556HP Camaro weighing the same as the current SS is on the way as a 2012 model, it is highly unlikely that Ford is not already preparing to meet or exceed the challenge with the 2012 GT500.

Here's what is going on. They're attempting to get you to admit that you do not even own a Camaro even though you feature one in your signature. That along with your comments in defense/supporting the Mustang would therefore make you a Mustang-fanboy troll whose opinion should be completely ignored.

Am I on the mark guys?
