Magazine racing maybe.. but on the street, and on the track. It is a different story.
Most G8 GT drivers have no problem stock vs stock - beating a 05-09 Mustang (not sure about the '10, but the increase wasn't very significant)
Not to mention I was talking about the 3 Muscle Cars-- Challenger/ Mustang/ Camaro.
But yeah, the fact that the Mustang was a reasonable kill for the G8 GT is just another slap in it's face..
again.... Finally Mustangs are not the oddly slow one of the bunch.
Take it for what its worth (this is the internet)-- but my first race ever in this car was against an LS1- Trans Am-- I won by about 1 car lengh. from a roll 50-100 ish. -- I know this is the internet, and I am sure you don't believe me.. that is okay by me.. I am at peace with the truth.
PPS-- I owned a LS1 equipped WS6 (2002)--- It was a great car ( I think my car is faster-- (with my mods)
