and to add a little more to this conversation, sometimes the woman can be that voice of reason so you arent spending yourself into debt. I was talking to another member last night and he's been wanting to do a s/c on his car... his wife said "hell no, not right now, we dont have $3000 free cash to spend"
to which he said, "ummm, honey, they are actually around $6000+"
he's not getting the s/c right now. plans are for next summer to have it installed. in the mean time, he's going to do other mods to hold himself over
