Fuel system cutoff is at 6850 in 5th gear. With a little bit of fuel system modification and a new MAF, that will pull to 7K+ all day, the rods, pistons, and crank can easily handle that.
Couple that with all the other bolt ons and you should be scared. Despite that, even a Blower at 6 pounds on stock internals is going to make 550 horses.

I never said it wouldnt respond to mods, I said it wouldnt respond as well as an LS3...and it wont...and you have said nothing to prove otherwise.
BTW...Ill never be scared of a 5.0 when I have a 6.2.
The day that 5.0 makes 500 rwhp with long tubes, CAI, CAMS, and a tune while running pump gas ill bend over and kiss your ass.
