So like I said you are bragging for nothing. We had a reason to brag before...we were spanking that little 4.6 by over a half second son. Now you are nutting over one test that shows a .1 tenth difference with the same trap speed. You make me laugh

And yes it may respond decent to mods...but you have to be crazy to think it will respond like the LS3 will...the 5.0 is all ready close to 100hp per liter....if you know anything about cars you would realize it is far closer to being tapped out than the camaro. Not to mention it has a better exhaust from the factory as well as a CAI.

Do you really think it is a secret to make 412 hp out of 5.0? or that gm can only get 426 hp out of a 6.2?
They have something called GAS MILEAGE to worry about. GM chooses to use a 6.2 because it can make solid power being corked up a bit and still have good mileage. Then when you decide to do mods you have A LOT left in the tank....un-like your 5.0....SON.

Answer me this...do you really tell yourself the new mustang would hang with the new camaro both having bolt ons and a CAM?

This 5.0 may not even be worth a damn supercharged...it has a very high compression ratio.

So again...what exactly are you bragging about.... The .1 tenth difference they got from the camaro ss in the motor trend test (that was on a different day mind you)....the same EXACT time they got at edmunds?....or is it the same trap speeds they got in all the tests?....maybe the mod ability that you know nothing about?

As far as the terminator...yes it had a blower and it was a cobra.....wasnt even in the same price range...I could have cared less back then. But you guys bring it up like its your lone defender because thats all you had

And we are the ones who say wait till next year ROFLMAO...thats all you guys ever say! We say it now because you dont even know what the 2011 camaro has....is it not fair to at least compare year to year? cmon now

Get a life and do your homework.
Trust me there's more left in that motor than you think. Revised tuning can optimize camshaft profiles. The exhaust still can be modified. There's room for P&P of the heads. The factory cold air intake looks cool but won't flow as well as aftermarket systems.

Fuel system cutoff is at 6850 in 5th gear. With a little bit of fuel system modification and a new MAF, that will pull to 7K+ all day, the rods, pistons, and crank can easily handle that.

Couple that with all the other bolt ons and you should be scared. Despite that, even a Blower at 6 pounds on stock internals is going to make 550 horses.

I'm sorry but do YOUR research first, thanks.
