"2010 Nino Farina GTC"

Quote:
Every so often, a few lucky people get the chance to buy a great new sports car. A limited edition car like this doesn’t come along very often. The Nino Farina GTC is the kind of car that makes your stomach muscles tighten when you start it. That lures you through a corner with a flick of the wrist and a rap of exhaust. It’s the real thing: a sports car with all traditional virtues and then some. One of those traditional virtues is performance with 450 HP Turbo Engine. But there are some highly untraditional virtues too. The GTC was designed with sport suspension for adjustable riding height. If you thought you’d never own one of the greatest sports cars, better to drive a Nino Farina GTC.

I saw this car in the DuPont Registry. It was a bit of a head scratcher. I looked it up online and I can't find much information.

But I just wanted you guy's opinions.

This is a joke right?

I mean .. It's OBVIOUSLY a riced out, wide body Toyota Celica. Why does it have an italian name? The Fornia name is associated with Ferrari and Alfa Romeo .. So isn't it kindof insulting to put it on a Celica?

And it claims 450hp .. but the engine doesn't look like much was done to it. And it's a 2010? Really ?? The interior looks like crap also!

So like .. is this a scam? Or a joke? Either way, it isn't funny.

This car really does make my "stomach muscles tighten" though .. but not in a good way.

Can anyone shed some light on this abomination ??
