They have a platform now, that can't even be upgraded like when they added IRS to the previous FOX (Fairmont) Mustang platform. That was part of the argument, that if they stayed with solid rear axle, there would be no upgrades this time.

It will take a platform re-design on the 2012 Mustang before they have IRS. It's the answer to maintaining traction in corners, when minor or major road imperfections are encountered. Not skidding sideways, as with solid rear axle cars.

As far as horsepower to weight ratios...We gotcha now Ford and Dodge. Thanks for showing us your cards about 2012. Chevy will be BACK with an answer. Hell, GM may OWN Dodge by then.

Unless everyone puts 4's and 6's in everything...

Lastly, I'm a fun-to-drive ho, I'd love a Mustang in my garage. But first give me my Camaro and/or Corvette.
