The way that I see it is that if someone is 18-25 then he can go out with and date an 18 year old. But... if someone is over 25... then they need to get their head checked.

Also, your friend will be in some deep s*it, if her parents find out, even a good lawyer won't save him, not to mention that a good lawyer won't even seriously think about taking on such a case.

He's screwed. 16 is too young. She's still a child. What kind of grown man (even if he's still a young adult) be doing with a 16 year old. An 18 year old is legally an adult, though not technically. I mean honestly, an 18 year old can't even buy alcohol unlike everywhere else. But a person that did a 16 year old deserves an ass whoopin and some jail time.
