I don't even bother with these anymore. The concept is great on paper, but the reality is that these polls do far more to show the tenacity of a particular internet community, and that communities awareness of the poll, than general public opinion toward any car.
For example, look at the current trend of this poll and then take a look at actual sales, they couldn't be less similar. It reminds of the GTO, a car the internet GM community assured Pontiac would sell in droves if only they would import it, as we all know the reality which followed was quite different.
Unfortunate too, since the internet really could be a great way to convey real information to our favored companies.
