"The formula" for who is in your age range to date, as I have been taught to understand it, is 1/2 your age plus 7.
So, 1/2 of 25=12.5 + 7 = 19.5. That means she is 3.5 years too young to be dating the guy.
As a rule, I would also add in that the formula is 1/2 your age plus 7 EXCEPT when the law provides otherwise! Or as 5thGenCamaroChick's hubby says; 16 will get you 20.

Besides that, she might SEEM to be mature for her age, but in reality she's just practicing. Same concept as puppy love, basically. She can't actually be as mature as she seems until she experiences the things make us all grow up. Don't get me wrong, she might be more mature than her peers, but that's not saying a lot considering the maturity level of most 16 yr olds.
Lastly, you should ask your friend how he would feel if some guy was fooling around with his 16 yr old kid sister/neice/daughter. I bet he would see the situation differently.

I couldn't agree more. At 16 you are not near as "grown up" as you are at 25. To give you an idea of the difference in 16 and 25 think about this: At age 16 this girl *might* be able to get her driver's license depending on the state where she lives. At 25, she could possibly be the doctor treating your wounds in the emergency room at the hospital after you got a beat down from PQ when he finds out your 25 and dating his daughter!
So, to save you some time here is a chart to figure out if your sugar daddy is too old for you, or your trophy girlfriend is too young for you...

You notice that at the very young ages they are tightly spaced. this accounts for the maturity difference at those ages. As you age this maturity difference disappears.
