Just so you know, as of January 1, 2010, Illinois no longer has a split speed limit. If you have a trailer, you can do 65mph now, no longer are you restricted to 55mph.
Also, as a
general rule, stay at, or around 73mph, and you won't get stopped. 74 mph and up will make you fair game to most city/counties that are out there. ISP is a bit different, but it's hush hush.
