I wholeheartedly agree with this - if the GTO is brought back, the design really should pay greater homage to the classic Goat. I've enjoyed my GTO, but it's been the performance and handling that got me into the car - not the styling. If it had been reintroduced in '04 with better heritage cues, I would have nearly been as excited about it as I am with the 5th gen 'Maro. As it was, it took a drive at an Autoshow in Motion to convince me that it had anything to it.

On another note, I have had people compliment me on my Cavalier, Grand Am, and even (ugh!) my mustang… If GM really goes the route of G5, G6, G8, and GTO, there has got to be a better, more recognizable design.
