GM hasn't released anything on except that there will be multiplle engines. Everything we'll say is pure speculation. That being said:
Some people think the base v8 will be the LS@ for the first year at least, and the LS3 will be the upgraded v8.
Others think the LS3 will be base, and the LSA or supercharged LS3 will be the top end.
Some people have said that the LS9 will be going into some versio nof the camaro. No one has any idea until GM produces the information....
Well almost everyone. Someone on the boards is building engines for GM in Canada.... Won't say any names though.
