The grand sport is very similar in apperance to the z06. The fender flares are the same size and the enlarged rear fender flares are also there. It's pretty much a z06 look alike body. The big visual change being the vents behind the front tires. It's a great car. I've had the pleasure of having a 2008 and a 2007 z06 at my used car dealership. I drove the 2007 for 600 miles as my demo and it's alot of car to handle for the street. The 2008 which we still have has tune, headers and intake and it's just stupid fast. Sounds amazing, gets looks EVERYWHERE you go but you can't put the power down, it just wants to burn up the very expensive tires. I do have a friend with a zr1 and he traded in his z06 for the zr1 and says the zr1 is a much much smoother ride. If I was buying a brand new vette today I'd go with a grand sport without thinking. You get all the goodies from the z06 but with power that is very useable on the street.
