Thats sort of the way the harley keyless systems work (at least if I'm remembering correctly the way my step dad explained it to me - I personally have a 1982 yamaha: no keyless ignition there). I wasn't saying good systems aren't out there, just that bad systems are out there as well and I don't know which category toyota's falls into.
