Now that they have broken in engines, the last two motor trend tests had times of 4.5 and 4.6, while the mustang gt in their car of the year testing was 5.1. So probably the 2011mustang will be about as fast as the SS, but not faster. After all the base Corvette does 0-60 in 4.3 seconds, and it's 300 pounds lighter than the mustang.
