Dallas and Detroit have been bitter rivals from the start. Detroit used to beat the tar out of the Stars in the early days - but once Dallas got good in the late 90's - they had epic battles in the playoffs. There's a lot of animosity there (and mutual respect).
I respect the Wings, but on the Stars forums their wings fans are being serious jackazzes just to taunt. Low class.
With all that being said, Steve Yzerman is a hockey god and probably on of my all-time favorite players, ever. So for that reason, I will always "not hate" on the Wings.
