I think we'll see a reduction in weight in the coming years. And I look forward to the Alpha-platform Camaro rumor coming true....but 3000lbs? You're probably right -- it isn't going to happen. And frankly, I wouldn't want it to...talk about a death-trap. Even the 60s Camaros weren't that light, and you don't want to get into an accident in one of those.

structural rigidity.. yea very important.. sound deadening good to a point.. I didnt have a/c in first car but after living in NC then TX for last 8yrs I have come to like it LoL..
I dont care about power seats rather save the weight.. some sensor good some just over the top.. tire pressure sensor u dont need though it doesnt add that much weight im sure..
Id like to see this alpha-platform.. going to have to look it up.. if they can get camaro under 3600lbs that be nice..
