I feel bad for 2010 Mustang GT owners
if mustang doesnt gain a good amount of weight the Mustang V6 will only be a hair slower then the 2010 Mustang GT

Yes. I bought a 2010 2SS/RS and sold it last year not enough pickup to my liking. I'm used to a Vette. But I looked at the GT500 last year and siad to myself wait if the Mustang GT is due for a change and the V6 the GT500 has to have something up their sleeves. The dealer told me none of the models were getting any updates. I told him he was lying that I kno for sure the GT and V6 are getting updated, he said it was news to him, and that I would be waiting for the 2011 GT500 and purchasing it somewhere else!
Well specs rolled around: 2011 GT500
- 10 HP increase (540 to 550)
- 102lbs - 132 lbs less in curb weight due to all new Aluminum Engine (depending on if you order the glass roof)
- SVT Performance Package available (knocks off 3-4 seconds at the track)
-etc...
So I can only imagine how a 2010 Mustang V6 or GT owner must feel. Every company has done this at some time this happened to me with my Vette when they went from 6.0L to 6.2L 4 years ago.
