Last time I ever drove my old '68 was the night I smoked a new 440 Magnum in 1976. Fond memory. And hemis, invented many many years ago, not by Chrysler. All Chrysler did was patent the name back in the 70's. Named for the hemispherical shaped cumbustion chamber in the heads, are like boat anchors. They need to build the heads larger and heavier to accomadate the valves into the shape of that chamber. I'm glad GM has a "better idea". Ford used to think they had the, "better idea".
