ok, so here's an update.
me, Emily (the gf), and a couple friends of ours went out last night. we all had quite a bit to drink. she got up and walked away from me for a min (if figured she was going to the bathroom) well, as it turns out, she proceeded to walk around the entire bar/grille spending 10-20 min at each table (mostly guys) laughing it up and what not.
her friend that was with us told me i had a lot of trust in her cus she was hanging with all these guys while me and my buddy were chatting. then all these people came to my table and proceeded to shake my hand and tell me what a wonderful guy i am because of what she was telling them
as it turns out she had been telling everyone how much she loved me. how she had never been so sure of anything in her life, how she wanted to marry me and be with me forever and have my children. granted she was a little tipsy. but she tells all of her friends this all the time. and they tell me how glad they are that she has finally found someone who makes her so happy.
now, on to the other part of the story. we have been saving around $2000.00 a month for our LA trip for her birthday at the end of this month. she and I have decided to continue to save at least $1000 a month to have for emergeny funds/hardwood floors/windows. I told her it wouldnt bother me at all to continue to put away $2000 (cus basically i put $1800.00 away and she puts $200.00, but its cus we have a joint account for our bills, so really we are both putting away $1000)
she and i talked about spending money on the new camaro and a ring for her, she told me last night b4 we went out that she wants to just put $1000 away each month and I can do whatever I want with the rest. but I cant tell her if im looking/buying/bought a ring for her. she doesnt want to know what im doing with the money. so im going to set up an additional savings account that is going to be my Camaro/ring fund. and she and i will have the joint account still.
I am just imagining driving her off in an 09 Camaro Z28 with the words "Just Married" across the back window! lol
