Toyota just has more than anyone else. Remember them recalling more cars than they actually sold a few years ago? Or prehaps the oil sludge problem that they insisted was user error...until a class action lawsuit was issued.
Now floor mats are killing people....no wait its not floor mats, its the accelerator sticking...no wait its not that, its the cpu......well we dont really know what it is.
Look phuck toyota.
They come here as an import company...that doesnt want to pay import fees, so they decide to build plants here...off our government tax exemptions (that us companies dont get) then they decide they are not going to build cars using the labor union thats mandated on the domestic companies, so they get away with cheaper labor and benifits with no real long term costs while avoiding import fees...which allows them a bigger profit on every car sold. Forcing the domestic companies to send work out of the country so they can try to place their cars within a reasonble price of the import counter part.
Its B.S. and its our governments fault first and foremost.
Either force the UAW on all automakers actively building vehicles in the US, or get rid of the union all together so all manufacturers can compete on fair and even ground. No more $20 mil tax breaks for foreign companes to build plants here while leaving our guys in the cold.
Take a look at how Japan does business and see how many American cars are sold in Japan? See if its fair there.
