I think disliking the TBW as a system is misdirected. IF designed properly...(see: GM, citing Number 3)...there are no issues. If the pedal itself is designed poorly, then it can cause accelration in traditional cable systems, too!! If the ECU is an interfering "middle-man"...and the algorithms are written poorly, then that can also be a problem...but the system itself is not flawed.

There is a different feel, though...definitely. TBW pedals have a more "springy" and smooth travel to them, while traditional cable throttle pedals are mechanical in nature. I can't say, personally, I have a preference.
