Seriously: you have great car and there is a time and place to jump on it but the street isnt it. I doubt the cops are "profileing" you or anything like that, theres alot of sporty cars that get stopped for any number of reasons. Try getting on thier side of things...dont give them a reason to pull you over, keep your inspection up, put your front plate on, drive respectably. Go to the track and CUT LOOSE, enroll in a local auto-cross club, or even start one because I am sure there are others who want to experience the thrill of thier cars as well.
I did that here and made it a local fundraiser for families of fallen officers.
Double Bonus: The police see you are doing the right thing and someone benefits from you haveing fun with your friends.
