LOL… yeah, I'm going to have to call foul on that, too. My first car was a 1975 Mustang II with the 302 (5.0L) V8 and it had a whopping 130-140 HP. It was a thirsty dog that felt about as stable as a bowling ball balanced on a toothpick and got AT LEAST 3 or 4 MPG. That was the BIG motor, not the80-something HP 4 cylinder (similar to the Iron Duke.) The only saving grace for the Mustang II was that Jill Munroe (Farrah Fawcett) drove one on Charlie's Angels. The M-2 also has the distinction of making a lot of car magazines' hall of self-shame for declaring it an award winner. If I recall correctly (can't find proof) the Mustang II also sadly saw the highest production numbers for ANY Mustang EVER.

Truly a dismal era for the automotive world. I also had a 79 Cutlass with the 260 cu in V8 (about 4.2 liter) that produced 95 HP. Sad, sad, sad, sad, sad.
