We have really incredible site leadership here. I'm grateful that threads stay open through some tough exchanges. A thread usually gets closed for good reason. People are allowed to disagree here, which is better than some sites. We have a political forum that allows for opinionated debate about some controversial issues, which is downright impressive and speaks for how our community conducts itself when approached with tough issues.

Some threads just have to be closed. When a personal issue creates conflict between members or when someone posts offensive material, posts and threads have to go. In the area of following the rules, we do a really good job at Camaro5 as a community. Sometimes, one post will go too far and someone will respond inappropriately. Sometimes a thread just gets derailed. It is important for this site to keep discussion on the Camaro, other GM products, competition, and a few other topics. That's why we're all here. This site is, in many ways, a business, and keeping people happy—customer service, if you will—is part of keeping it running. If you went to Foot Locker for groceries, then you can't expect them to sell to you; if you came to Camaro5 to trash-talk GM, which none of us have, then you also can't expect to get what you want. The moderators are just enforcing the rules we all accepted when we joined. They are doing a great job, and I, for one, appreciate their hard work.
