Generally, the hatred towards ricers is not the vehicle. I think there's some pretty sick Evo's, STI's, etc. Its the kids in their Civic that put 8" tips and a foot high spoiler on the rear with a body kit and decals that people apply the term "ricer" too. In my book, if it runs as fast as it looks, it aint rice. But if you have a wing for "downforce" and can't pull a 16 in the quarter, you've got a lot more issues than downforce.
