But when you think about it, most rules and laws are like this. Consider the following. No because the law states that you stop at stop signs.
Agreed and you dont lose your license if you run the stop sign and nobody was hurt, you get a ticket, you may get a warning, so if he didn't cause any harm he gets punished but not fired.
Using your example if your drunk and run a stop sign you lose your license punishment is given out in line with the offense, but you don't lose it for running the stop sign.
