He was driving with three other classmates in his car down a gravel road in the country between Madison and Dawson, MN. Took a turn at an intersection a little too fast, rolled the car when it hit the transition between the road and the ditch, and hit a power line pole while flying through the air and rolling. The pole impacted about at the top driver's side corner of the windshield. One of the other guys in the car (who had his seat belt on) ran about half a mile down the road to my parents' house because he could see the yard light. It was 11:00 PM or so when he pounded on the front door.
Steve didn't make it; they airlifted him to a hospital (I can't remember which one) in the Twin Cities, but there was nothing they could do. They had his funeral in the elementary school gym because the Catholic church wasn't even close to big enough for all the people that came.

My car never moves until everyone has their seat belts on. Sorry for the novel, the commercial just reminded me.
yea my car or the car i am driving doesnt go any where until everyone has their seat belts on
