The new Mustang motors are going to bring more people into showrooms. Step out of Camaro5 for a minute and check out the rest of the web. Mustang sites have much more activity. A lot of positive comments on neutral car sites. Then when reviews hit and we see the Mustang close the gap and maybe even exceed the Camaro it will bring in more of the general public. Don't forget a lot of these first year Camaro sales come from guys waiting years for a new Camaro. They have their cars now. Will the general public fill that sales void in 2011? |
My guess is the 2011 mustang wont meet the sales numbers of the 2010 mustang yet alone the 2011 camaro. Remember the Camaro is outselling it at MSRP and up, while you can get a gt and gt500's (or whatever they are called now) for under msrp. Theres probably 27 people that actually care about the 5.0 being on the side. As for the rest of the web, this site still probably has more mustang activity than any mustang website.
When the Camaro gets cheaper, look out.
