Autoshow, went and interesting observation.

Im a really observational guy, I see alot of things like patterns and symmetries and all sorts of Shutter Island kinda stuff. Dont ask lol. Anywayz Im very good at seeing flocking and currents in people, animals etc. So I went to the car show, hanging out by a catwalk that overlooked a few makes including Toyota and Ford and a couple german marks. after 2 mins I really noticed the flow actually avoiding Toyota/Lexus. I was with the GF and pointed it out and she was like wow. Everyone was criss-crossing through the other makes but actually went around the border of the Toy/Lexus area, like there was a contagious disease lurking in there lol. A few people next to us overheard it and started to see it too. Of course not everysingle person but a highly noticeable amount once you started looking for it. The main Toyota area was right in the main part of the hall too. On a side note seeing the whole show (Which was pretty crappy again this year, of course) Aside from the Camaro I really think Ford has the best lineup out there right now, GM's is getting better but they still need to trim the fat a bit and get rid of a couple more models and introduce a couple more awesome models. Im sure that its because the Toronto show is pretty lacklustre, no Camaro convertible, CTSV coupe etc etc. So if GM had really dropped their pants and shown it all Im sure Ford woudl've come second. The German stuff seemed to be pretty good and I think around these anal retentive parts the Fiat 500 will do well. The Japanese makers, including Subaru unfortunately really see to be lacking. In conclusion I think the the tides have definitely turned and the Domestics, really Ford GM, have turned the point of making better cars, better looking vehicles, innovation, styling and are starting to get their groove back with the general public. I think the next 5 years will see the e-taking of the auto industry by hopefully all the big 3. But as I said Ford has absolutely come out of the gates strong, good fro them and GM. Chrysler needs to get its shit together still though. Maybe they should really hit the small car and hybrid domestic market. I dunno. Anywayz, that what I noticed, my review and predictions. If you dont like or agree you can go jump in a 08-10 Camry.
