The Camaro would be more forgiving if you find yourself in the wrong gear... There's tricks you can use so you don't need to know what gear you're in, just what gear you need.

Think of it as having a 4 speed, those first 4 gears will be the only ones you use till you get on the interstate. You're slowing but not stopping... 2nd gear (most turns). 3rd and 4th for cruising in traffic.

1 and 2, slow maneuvering (stops and turns), 3 and 4, good speed in traffic, 5 and 6, highway.
