Yeah I think it was called the GTA Trans Am or GNXs.(unfortunately did not build a camaro version)
The Mustang in that day was faster than the Camaros, but if you want to look at history you can't just look at one period. They have both been in production since the 60's and they go back and forth as far as performance.
